The Inspiration for Perry’s Paws
In the memory of Irene Perry (Gudmundson)
Robin McEnelly’s mother Irene loved pets all of her life. After her mother’s passing, she decided to turn Irene’s house into a cat rescue in her memory and Perry’s Paws was born. We are in the process of renovating the property in Kennedy, into a shelter for stray and feral cats. It is a slow process as Robin and Mike are doing the project “out of pocket” for the needed building materials and any type of donations would be greatly appreciated. Perry’s Paws is a registered 501c3 non-profit stray/feral cat & kitten rescue sanctuary, EIN 99-0420785.
Perry’s Paws Mission Statement: Our mission at Perry’s Paws is to reduce the number of homeless, unwanted, and abandoned cats and kittens in Kittson County and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to rescue and rehabilitate as many cats as possible. If necessary, we will also utilize a trap, neuter, release (TNR) program for the county. By working together with the community, we hope to help put an end to the needless suffering and overpopulation.
